No bailout for pensioners – Star April 23/09

I must applaud Premier Dalton McGuinty for not caving in to the unreasonable demands of a group of auto-workers for taxpayer’s rescue of their rich pension entitlements. These people have had wages and benefits (including a non-contributory pension plan) that are far beyond what most Canadian workers can dream of. It should be adequate that the taxpayers are bailing out their employers and saving their jobs in the process.
